Im hoping to buy a BM in the next few days but i im going to spend Saturday morning and maybe afternoon tarting it up, with tat im looking at buying a buffer, but can anybody recommend one and decent pads for it.

Bull-bars don't suit BMW's Hahahaha
Seriously... All decent "Buffers" seem to be either nylon or cloth (cotton) based...
Ask MQ or Gav on the best polishing methods....

if your looking for something with a bit of bite to it it, you need a rotary , if your just after a quick shine up job get a DA, although ive had good results from flatting marks with a DA , its all down to the user who is using it . takes years of practise if you ask me, ive been polishing cars (i do bodywork for a job) for years and i still learn new tricks etc and teach people who have been doing it for alot longer different ways.

I've just started using a DA, and the results can be amazing, well worth the money

i bought 1 for my othercar but never used it think il be using iton the beamer tho :rolleyes:
