Hi

Im looking to upgrage my exhaust on my 323. Im not sure if there is any point on doing a straight through and back box or just a back box...

im not realy looking for a preformance gain just a good sound..

any ideas plz....

I guess you would spend on one?
Get a Stainless cat-back system...
Tbh, a catalytic convertor does not make much difference but if they are ok then keep them !
Its all down to how the engine burns, so if you can get plenty of cool air in then it will contain more oxygen for the fuel to ignite and expand in the cylinders...
And a more free flowing exhaust will expell it more quicker, thus relieving back pressure. (you could always pack the silencer with fibreglass for the MOT)...
Keep the Cats for now, if you see an improvement the go for a remap!
Options will then become available too, LOL B)
