Hi, Im looking to replace the rear speakers on my 96 318i saloon, have the 6 x 9 adaptors on order, just wandered if anyone has changed them/ and or what good 6 x 9 speakers to go for.

Hi,ive changed mine,u have to have the adaptors and its fairly easy.As for which speakers,it depends what sort of sound your going for but if its just as a standard upgrade then it doesnt really matter what brand you choose as even the cheapy ones these days are not too shabby,but for better quality etc then go for the higher quality names such as kenwood,pioneer,alpine etc etc. Hope this helps
