Hiya, My Air Bags Warning Light Goes Of For 20 Seconds On Startup, Then Comes Back On Again! I Hear It Is A Common Fault With My Model 740i 4.4 V8 & An Easy Cheap Fix!!
Any Ideas Welcome!!!

Passenger seat Occupancy Sensor ! ALL BMW's suffer from this issue.
Expensive to fix and a ball-ache to do, but you can get a cheap bypass unit from Ebay... ;)

I had this fault on my e39, thought it was passenger occu sensor but ended up being seatbelt pretensioner. my advice is get a diognostic plugin and see what it says.
